Fring : First video calls App for Android users
The good news is that the new Fring client for Android can make Free video calls over your phone’s internet. So whether you’re on HTC’s new Evo, Nexus 1 or many other Android devices, you’ll almost be together wherever you are with the first ever video calls on Android devices – and it’s free over your internet connection
Fring’s video calling service is integrated with Skype, so you should see any Skype user, assuming you’ve found a Wi-Fi or decent 3G connection and aren’t paying by the byte. Fring had promised more platforms would follow the addition of video to the Symbian version which was launched last November, so now Android users can discover how quickly the novelty of being able to see the person you’re calling wears off.
But the question is how Fring make money ? Same Question when analysts asked to Twitter. Fring is still searching for a revenue model as they are not making any money by this free service. As people don’t opt for Video calls by paying and this could be a bigger task for them to develop a constant revenue model.
See the nice video from Fring.
