YouTube no longer supports old browsers.

Google is withdrawing support for old versions of browsers IE, Firefox, Safari and even Chrome from next month onwards. Its official, from March 13, 2010 You Tube officially withdrawing support for older version of browsers. Google stated
“In mid-2009 we started notifying users that YouTube would stop support for certain older browser versions. If you’d like the best YouTube viewing experience, we recommend that you upgrade to the most recent version of your browser.”

Some of the features of YouTube will not be visible for those stick to IE6. So its a better choice to upgrade. Browsers effected with this are
- Any browser older than Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0
- Any browser older than Mozilla Firefox 3.0
- Any browser older than Google Chrome 4.0
- Any browser older than Safari 3.0+
YouTube already introduced the the latest HTML5 in some of their videos, as experts says a common strategy against Adobe Flash.
